For more than thirty years, PLMA’s annual “World of Private Label” International Trade Show has brought retailers together with manufacturers to help them find new products, make new contacts, and discover new ideas that will help their private label programmes succeed and grow.

Today, the need for new products, contacts and ideas has never been greater. Private label market share stands at its highest ever. The future promises even more private label as retailers expand internationally and take a larger role in marketing themselves and the products that they sell.

PLMA’s 2020 “World of Private Label” International Trade Show will be held at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and will present more than 2,800 exhibiting companies including nearly 60 national and regional pavilions. Products on display will include fresh, frozen and refrigerated foods, dry grocery, and beverages as well as non-food categories, including cosmetics, health and beauty, household and kitchen, auto aftercare, garden, and housewares & DIY. The show floor is divided into separate food and non-food halls to help visitors make the most of their time.

More than 17,000 trade professionals from 120 countries come to PLMA’s “World of Private Label” International Trade Show each year to discover private label suppliers and products right for their operations and customers.

Gathering in Amsterdam will be retailers representing supermarkets, hypermarkets, discounters, drugstores and department stores, as well as importers and exporters, manufacturers, consultants, sales agents and packaging & design experts.

All come looking for private label products ranging from low-cost alternatives to innovative premium lines, from food and household products to health and beauty. Concentrated into two days of intense contacts, the “World of Private Label” International Trade Show is the most efficient and productive way to source for a company’s private label needs.


Promotional Opportunities

All PLMA exhibitors receive a free listing in the online Show Preview and Official Trade Show Catalogue, including company name, address, telephone number, e-mail, website, product lines and two company contact names. In addition, PLMA exhibitors can take advantage of the following special opportunities to promote their company and products.

New Product Expo
Exhibitors can submit their new products for promotion and display in PLMA's New Product Expo at the show. Products selected will be displayed in showcases in a central location during trade show hours and can be viewed by all visitors and exhibitors. Selection is based on the level of innovation of the product submitted.

Advertisement in the Official Trade Show Catalogue
Exhibitors can turn the spotlight on their companies and products by advertising in the Official Show Catalogue, which is distributed to the show’s visitors and is used as a desk reference throughout the year.

Trade Show Invitations
Exhibitors receive a set of special complimentary invitations to send to prospective and current business contacts for meetings at the show. The special invitation entitles the exhibitor’s client to a free entrance badge for both show days. Invite registration is operated online.

Buyers List
Thirty days prior to the show, exhibitors receive the preliminary list of registered retail and wholesale buyers. This list can be used to set up appointments with buyers in advance. Exhibitors also receive an updated buyers list upon arrival at the show. This updated list can be used for post-show promotion and sales follow-up.
