OUR STORY
The Brazilian Association of the Medical, Dental, Hospital and Laboratory Articles and Equipment Industry (ABIMO) is the representative entity of the Brazilian health products industry that promotes the sustainable growth of the sector in the national and international market.
Founded in 1962, ABIMO was born from the idea of 25 manufacturers of medical and dental products. They decided to come together to strengthen, organize and regulate the segment. At the time, the group maintained its focus on working for the benefit of the national industry and ensuring the quality and safety of medical and hospital equipment produced in the country.
In these years of work, ABIMO has expanded its operations to support the production chain, through councils and working groups, which are responsible for all technical, operational and associative aspects of the segment.
There are more than 50 years of stories. And for the next 50 years, ABIMO's commitment is to continue working to further promote the integration of the medical and dental equipment sector with public health objectives.
